It has been a year now since Amazon first launched its cloud gaming service Luna in the US, and to celebrate the occasion, the company is expanding its reach to three additional regions – Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This marks the first time that non-US Amazon customers will have access to Luna. Prime subscribers can enjoy a selection of complimentary games each month, with the March lineup, as Engadget stated, featuring four games such as Megaman 11 and Trails from Zero.
To expand your access to the Luna game library, Amazon offers “Channels” subscriptions. For example, the Luna+ channel provides games such as Control, Street Fighter II, and Tetris Effect. Pricing for these channels varies by market, with Luna+ costing $13 per month in Canada. Additionally, there is a Ubisoft+ channel, which offers access to the publisher’s most popular games, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Rainbox Six Extraction. If you already own some of Ubisoft’s games on your PC, you can play those games on Luna with either an Amazon Prime or Luna+ subscription.
Amazon said with the expansion into the UK, Canada, and Germany, it will also begin selling its Luna Controllers in these regions. The service itself is going to be accessible via a select group of compatible devices. Those include the Amazon Fire TV as well as Samsung smart TVs. Other devices that allow access to Luna include the Amazon Fire Tablet range, iPhone and iPad devices via the Safari browser, along with Android devices from Google, OnePlus, and Samsung using the Chrome browser.
Interestingly, Amazon’s move to expand the Luna services in the above-mentioned regions comes just a few months after Google had withdrawn its cloud-based gaming platform, Google Stadia just at the start of the year.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in the world of technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles as well, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. Motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot and maybe I’ll make a film sometime in the future.
